Greg St. Jacques - President and Founder
Once a high school band director, afterward Greg spent years working as a tour guide for corporate student travel companies. When he started P.A.C.E. Travel in 1995, the mission was to provide trip experiences that were truly special and memorable. From day one, Greg was committed to modeling his business after a high level of excellence, imparted by his strong faith as a Christ-follower.
All aspects of P.A.C.E.’s business, from the finances and operations to the relationships with schools, students, parents, and vendors, are designed to ultimately glorify Jesus Christ. In fact, the acronym in the name P.A.C.E. Travel came from his daughter Naomi, who was 14 at the time P.A.C.E. was established, Performing. After. Christ’s. Example.
Greg is widely recognized as one of the premier tour guides in the country. Through his active position in the day-to-day operations of P.A.C.E. Travel, he works to impart his knowledge of history and dedication to providing positive memories for the youth of America to all P.A.C.E. Tour Guides and staff.
A father of five children of his own, Greg and his wife Cindy are dedicated to inspiring and educating young people. They even host dozens of their church youth group students in their own home each week. When Greg is not on the road or in the office, you can find him tinkering in the garage on his vintage Mini Cooper, a lifelong hobby.
Robert Childers - Director of Travel Operations and Logistics
Before P.A.C.E., Robert worked for decades as an Airport Station Manager for commercial airlines. Robert perfected his skills in logistics, scheduling, and operations management in the highprofile, fastpaced aviation environment.
Today, Robert uses his keen eye for detail to ensure that all the moving parts of P.A.C.E. led trips are planned and executed with excellence. As the main point of contact for most principals, directors, educators, and parents, Robert works tirelessly to ensure that the communication prior to, during, and after tours and trips is timely.
Robert has always held a special place in his heart for young people. He and his wife Amanda have fostered over 40 children in their home, one of whom they permanently adopted adding a fifth child to their family.
Jean Schell - Vendor Relations and Accounting Manager
With a background in public and homeschool education, Jean now manages the P.A.C.E. Travel headquarters office. Her focus is to make all touchpoints the clients and passengers have with P.A.C.E. a positive experience, even in account transactions.
Jean understands building relationships based on teamwork and support. She has even utilized her talents for organization and coordination on several refugee and disaster mission trips all over the country.
When Jean is not managing P.A.C.E.’s day to day operations, you can find her spending time with her family, including her five children, or restoring her Historic home.
